New jobless claims rose to their highest levels in six months.
It is said that new jobless claims rose to their highest levels in six months this week with the nation unemployment rate staying pretty much steady at around 9.5 % .
Could it be that that Jet Blue flight attendant has started a trend and that workers everywhere are deploying their emergency chutes to bailout of their jobs and start filling unemployment paper?

Fewer babies born in the U.S. in 2008.
According to the National Center for health statistics, the U.S. birth rate fell in 2008, the first full year of the recession, ending a decade long baby boom.
Some experts try to tie the phenomenon to the economic downturn and said that has been the case with every recession ever since the great depression.
No expert needed here: doesn't recession said it all?

Recession is said to be winding down.
A recent survey by the Federal Reserve found that despite continued economic decline in April and May, the recession is considered to be winding down, according to the Wall Street Journal
Unfortunately, if that is true, that will mark the launch of another recession: That of the Republican Party.
