President Obama meeting with the Dalai Lama angers China.

President Obama meets yesterday with the Dalai Lama in the White House to the chagrin of the Chinese government who tried unsuccessfully to lobby against it.
In a statement, the Chinese government declared: "The behavior of the U.S. side seriously interferes in China's internal politics and seriously hurts the national feelings of the Chinese people."
Yeah! As if taking all the American manufacture jobs and becoming the biggest creditor of the U.S. is not enough, they want a back massage to go with that.

Pasenger takes a swing at Mitt Romney before take off.

Former Massachusetts Governor and presidential candidate hopeful Mitt Romney was threatened by a passenger who took a swing at him in an Air Canada flight from Vancouver to Los Angeles after he asked him to raise his back seat just before take off.
The plane returned to the gate and the passenger was removed from the plane.
Some people can't just stand neat hair.

Palestinian President chief of staff suspended over sex scandal.

The chief of state of the Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas has been suspended as part of an investigation of a video tape of him naked in an hotel room trying to exchange favors for sex with a woman who was looking for help for a family matter.
As if any proof was needed to show the world that they were ready for self determination, Palestinian leaders are having their sexual scandals already.

Tractor-trailers thefts said to be on the rise.

According to law enforcement officials, in the past year, there were a 67% increase over the previous year in thefts of tractor-trailers filled with millions of dollars worth of goods.
It is said that most of those heists happen at rest stops while the the drivers are away for a few moment.
In this recession, it is remarkable to notice that there are economic sectors that are thriving.

Senator McCain seems to flip flop in the face of the "Don't ask don't tell' debate.

During this week Congressional hearings on the "Don't ask don't tell"policy, defense secretary and the top military generals support a repeal of the longstanding policy.
Opposed to the repeal of the policy is Arizona senator John McCain who seems to change his position from a campaign pledge to support whatever decision adopted by top military officials.
To McCain defense, "Don't ask him what he said during the campaign."

Sarah Palin calls for the firing of Obama chief of staff over the word "retard".

In a declaration in her Facebook page, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is calling for President Obama to fire his chief of staff Rahm Emanuel for using the word "retarded" to describe a group of liberals critical of the White House handling of the health care legislation.
To speak the truth, the former governor is really upset because she deeply believe that she has the trademark on the word and that no one should use it without her permission.

China warns President Obama not to meet with the Dalai-Lama.

With it's relations with the U.S. already at their lowest point in a long time over a host of issues, China has just issued a warning to President Obama not to meet with the Dalai-Lama or risk retaliation from the Chinese government.
To give you a hint, China may require that we all start speaking Chinese before they lend us any more money.

China upset over U.S. arms deal with Taiwan.

The relations between the U.S. and China hit rock bottom this week-end after the Obama administration approved a $64 billion arms deal with Taiwan despite China's objections.
Reacting to the deal, China summoned the U.S. ambassador to Beijing, and announced the suspension of military exchanges between the two countries.
Looking closely at China's decision, it makes sense: they have the exclusive right to sell junk ware around the world.
