Apple's iPhone 4 made its Chinese debut this weekend and already there is a shortage of the phone.
This latest developments is a testimony to the power of Apple's persuasion: convince Chinese people to buy back the fruit of their cheap labor.

California passes a cuss free week

Unable to pass a pass a budget due three months ago, the California legislature was nevertheless able to pass several measures like a cuss free week, or one that would bar the state from filming cows in New Zealand among others.
I don't know about the cow filming, but I know that in a broke state, it would be hard to keep people from cussing.

Hugo Chavez looses super majority in Venezuelan congressional elections.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's ruling party lost its super majority in the latest Congressional elections held this past Sunday.
Not waisting any time, the GOP leadership is already using this story in their latest push to retake the House reminding everybody that this will be a bad year for all Socialists.

Halloween mask featuring a BP oil stained jumpsuit is unveiled.

Just in time for Halloween, a custom manufacturer has come up with a green oil stained mechanic jump suit adorned with a BP logo and supposed to make fun of the infamous oil spill.
Me, I won't be in costume this Halloween unless someone come up with one representing the bad economy.

Obama delivers his second back to sckool speech.

In his second back to school speech, President Obama choose a small public school in Philadelphia to deliver his address urging students to "dream big" and "to stay focused."
After further review, it seems like it is the same speech he has been giving to jittery Democrats across the country about their life after November.

Hot Mexican TV reporter back to cover the team on Monday Night.

The hot Mexican TV reporter who caught Jets players'attention this past week end and said she felt uncomfortable being around them, was back on the field during the Monday Night game against the Baltimore Ravens. Coincidentally, the Jets lost after delivering a very sloppy performance.
For a chance to play any better, the Jets may need a restricting order against this woman who is apparently stalking them.

A new report found that the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. has decreased significantly for the first time in two decades .
The reasons if you may ask? Americans are now doing jobs that just a few months ago, Americans did not want to do.

Paris Hilton banned from two Wynn resorts in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday, Paris Hilton was banned from two Wynn resorts on the Vegas Strip and her boyfriend dismissed as a nightclub partner following her arrest last week on suspicion of cocaine possession while riding in a car driving by the boyfriend.
That should be a lesson to all hotel heiress of the world: if you behave badly at a Vegas resort, you will be banned for life.

Chilean trapped miners receive first hot meals in 26 days.

Chilean miners trapped underground after a rock collapse have received their first hot meal in 26 days when meatballs, chicken and rice were piped through a tube to them. But their request for alcohol and cigarettes were turned down.
When these miners asked for cigarettes and alcohol, I think they were just being greedy because they already got a better service at 2,300 ft below ground than most of us at our favorite fast food joint.
