Hearings for Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan to begin today.
The Senate Judiciary Committee is set to begin week long hearings for Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan. In all accounts, today proceedings are expected to be just introductory with the real bullying and mud slugging to start tomorrow.

Injuries start to pile up for team Obama.
About two weeks ago, President Obama nominee for the Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor fell and broke her ankle at LaGuardia Airport on her way to the White House for a meeting. And this week, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fell and broke her elbow on her way to another meeting at the White House.
At this pace, OSHA will soon have to declare working for the White House, a high occupational hazard.
