Iraqi shoe thrower is released from jail.
Muntadar al-Zaidi the Iraqi journalist that threw a shoe at president Bush during a news conference last year in Baghdad was released from prison on Tuesday after serving nine months.
Obama beware: the guy was seen the next day at a Baghdad Pay Less shoe store shopping for some oversized shoes.

As violence goes down, vices return in Baghdad streets.
It is reported that violence has been so down in Baghdad that all sorts of vices long gone, are making a comeback in the city once famous for 1001 varieties of them.
It sounds like the surge has worked some magic.
