Ellen DeGeneres to leave American Idol.
American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres announced last week that she is leaving the show after just one year on the job.
Is it because the contestants were not gay enough for her? Just asking.

A contestant in British got talents is suing Simon Cowell over comments he made.
A 54 years old contestant in the 2009 season of Britain' Got Talent show is suing Simon Cowell for $3.8 for what she calls "humiliation" after being unceremoniously being booted off the show.
One can only hopes that the judge Judy is not presiding over her case.

"Swine flu" overtakes "American Idol" as the most searched term.
With the help of the news media drumbeat about the outbreak, swine flu was the most searched term on Yahoo last week, topping "American Idol." In the same week, it is estimated that more than 125,000 tweets mentioning the disease, were sent daily.
With the infection rate seeming to have plateaued and no cohort of Americans dropping dead in the streets from the disease, cable news outlets woke up this morning feeling the blues.
