Less than a week after being fired as the top commander in the Afghan war, General Stanley McCrystal informed the army on Monday that he plans to retire from the army.
It seems like the general now will have more time to smoke that Afghan pot who got him in trouble in the first place.

Coming off days of harsh criticisms of the U.S. and its allies fighting alongside against the Taliban, Afghan President Hamid Karzai is reportedly threatening to joint those same Taliban if the U.S. keeps pressuring him to do more to end the rampant corruption of his regime.
With the U.S. economy still in the tank, it seems like it the guy is ready to ditch the dollar for a sure supply of opium.
