Mitt Romney Detroit childhood home torn down.
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's childhood home in Detroit was among thousands of vacant homes torn down in that city this week.
These houses were said to been seating vacant for years because the city is so broke that it could not afford the costs associated with their demolition and have to use some federal stimulus money to do it.
What an insult for a staunch conservative like Romney: your childhood home city is so broke that federal stimulus money is to be used to tear down your former broken down home.
