The U.S. Commerce Department to change the poors' count in America.
The U.S. Commerce Department issued a directive last month containing a new formula on how to determine who is poor in America. According to the new guideline, overall poverty would rise from 13.2 percent to 15.8 percent while the number of older Americans considered poor, would double.
For most Americans who already feel like what being poor is like, the real shocker was to hear that we still have a Commerce Department.
