South Carolina Governor whereabouts finally known.
In South Carolina, the frantic search for the missing governor finally ended today when he resurfaced after missing for days with no one, including his wife and staff knowing where he was. In a brief statement, his office maintains that the governor took some time off and went hiking in the Appalachian mountain to clear his head after the bitter loss to keep the federal stimulus money out of his state.
This is a Governor who takes things literally. When told by the state Supreme Court to take a hike following his refusal to accept the state portion of the stimulus money, he really heard the advice and took one. The only problem being that he forgot to tell anyone.
