Statue of Liberty crown to reopen to the public on July 4.
Almost eight years after it was closed to the public following the September 2001 terrorist attack, the Interior Department has announced the planing reopening of the Statue of Liberty's crown to the public, starting in July 4th.
In an unrelated note, Madonna released a statement making sure that the world knows that she has been always open.
