GM teaming up with Segway to develop a two wheeled.
GM is posed to announce today a project to build a two wheeled electric vehicle in partnership with Segway Inc. The vehicle which GM hopes to launch by 2012, will be based on the same two wheeled scooter developed by Segway a few years ago but will come with an enclosed cabin. Called PUMA for Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility,the vehicle will run on batteries and use wireless technology to provide more mobility in tight urban areas.
From providing Cadillac Escalade to movies stars and the rich and famous to equipping parking lots attendants and mall security with Segways, what a way to go down GM!
