Bloggers arrests on the rise worldwide.
According to an annual report by the University of Washington, 64 bloggers have been arrested worldwide since 2003 for exposing human rights abuses or criticising governments.
The report went on to say that the rising number of arrests was a testament to the growing political influence of bloggers.
Just like rappers, many bloggers now are looking to be arrested so they can live to brag, I mean to blog about it.

Blogging has come a long way since the days of a lonely computer nerd with a lot of time in his hands and a willingness to talk over his life online for the entire world to hear. Good for them if they are such a force today to the point to force some governments to keep a tab on them.
