PC hard-drive is wiped by Bratz doll designer.
The ongoing intellectual property dispute between Mattel, maker of Barbie dolls and MGA Entertainment Inc, maker of Bratz doll and revolving around who owns the popular Bratz doll, has registered a new twist with Mattel claiming that the hard-drive of the computer used by the designer of the doll, was wiped clean , just days before it was to be copied by investigators.
As you may know, that designer worked for Mattel before joining MGA and for that reason, Mattel is arguing that the designer "dreamed up the doll" while still employed by it.
